Amy supported the candidacy of a group of school bagpipes to perform in New York.
She donated £100 to the North Lanarkshire schools bagpipe bands hoping to attend the Tartan Day parade.
She also retweeted the fundraising video at her 126 000 subscribers on Twitter.

Everyone is really excited about the trip and all the positive messages we have received. ” The total cost of travel is estimated at approximately £ 80 000 and the Commission has agreed to offset any funding shortfall.
